DARA Update: Jan 7 2022

Hey Dara Community!

We’ve have had some requests for an update on the status of the DARA Extension.

Currently our app is in the review stage, Google are clamping down on what is submitted to the extension store and now require extended reviews. This should not be a problem for us.

Our current extension, which some of you have already used in beta version, currently at v1.3.6, is compatible with v2 of the chrome extension manifest. We have strived to keep up with Google’s shifting policies and this has given us the drive to completely rewrite the extension to be compatible with their new v3 manifest, which all extensions must adapt to over the coming months.

In the process of rewriting the extension we have realised that we could probably do even more with the next version, adding more functionality whilst maintaining the one click usage we are proud of and we will be revealing some of these features to you as soon as we have some preview material.

Currently we await Google’s response, which is anticipated any day now, although we cannot promise any date as of yet. We thank you all for your continued support, we are proud to have you with us on this journey!
